About This Database
How It Works
This database was built by:
- OCR Extraction — Screenshot tweets from Twitter/X using Claude Sonnet vision
- Compound Identification — Parse tweet content to extract all mentioned compounds
- Information Synthesis — Aggregate all mentions into unified information sheets
- Markdown Generation — Create structured pages linking back to original sources

- Benefits & Effects — Claimed and discussed effects
- Dosing & Usage — Recommended dosing and forms
- Safety & Considerations — Risks, side effects, contraindications
- Research & Sources — Referenced studies and papers
Tweet Mentions
Every mention is tracked with: - Author name / @handle - Source tweet file - Direct quote from the tweet - Full context accessible via source link
Methodology
- Source: 98 biohacking tweets from Twitter/X
- Extraction: Haiku/Sonnet vision models (Twitter UI aware)
- Compounds Found: 154 unique substances
- Mentions: 400+ tracked references
- Categories: 5 main categories + miscellaneous
Updating the Database
To add new tweets to the database:
/ingest-compounds /path/to/new/images
This will: 1. OCR new tweet screenshots 2. Extract compounds 3. Update the database 4. Regenerate all pages
