The heavy-metals question, specifically
Your instinct to worry about heavy metals is well-placed, and it splits by format:
- Vials (pure peptide): low intrinsic heavy-metal load, and ICP-MS-testable — you can get a definitive answer.
- Capsules with rice-flour filler (YourProtocol and most oral caps): rice is a known accumulator of inorganic arsenic and cadmium. A CoA testing only the peptide's "purity and potency" says nothing about the filler. Only an ICP-MS panel on the finished capsule catches it — and almost no one runs one.
