You shouldnt use semax for cognition, at all.
People love to mention its effect on BDNF for plasticity but there are a hundred things that are better than semax that still affect BDNF.
Good news: there is A TON of better shit waiting on you.

Even naturals like resveratrol and rhodolia rosea would overall, looking at the bigger picture and not solely BDNF, be better than semax.
Studies on semax saw no increase in dopamine on its own, but did see potentiated dopamine release when semax was combined with d-amphetamine. Which is where it potentially could be used.
Not to mention the dosage it should be taken at for its BDNF effects are around 500-2500mg intranasally which is probably way above what you are currently taking it.
Here's my bottom line; if you like semax, good.
There are SO MANY nootropics that can largely do what it does and much more than that, so you have a ton of amazing options to pick from.
