Vilon

Category: Peptides / Longevity & Anti-aging One-line: Khavinson dipeptide (Lys-Glu) that restores thymic function — acute energy and vitality, immune protection, faster recovery

Information Sheet

What It Is

Vilon is a dipeptide composed of just two amino acids: lysine and glutamate (Lys-Glu). It belongs to the bioregulator class developed by Vladimir Khavinson and targets the thymus — the organ responsible for training T-cells. Because it's a dipeptide, it survives digestion and absorbs effectively orally (same principle as pinealon and epitalon).

Mechanism of Action

  • Works through gene expression modulation, not receptor binding — influences which genes get expressed in immune and other tissues
  • Acts on thymic epithelial cells, signalling the thymus to resume activity even in aged, involuted tissue
  • IGF-1 gene expression: +3.5x in replicative aging, +5.2x in stationary aging (PMID: 32399807)
  • Irisin gene expression modulation (metabolism, tissue regeneration — same pathway as pinealon)
  • Upregulates antithrombin III and Protein C (cleaner clotting)
  • Stimulates fibrinolysis (prevents blood sludge)
  • Regulates vascular permeability (better O2 delivery to tissue)
  • Enhances intestinal stem cell growth (gut barrier repair, nutrient absorption)
  • Modulates TNF-alpha and IL-6 inflammatory pathways, improves macrophage function (Avolio et al., 2022 — Italian independent validation)
  • Binds directly to double-stranded DNA motifs, opening chromatin structures (Kolchina et al., 2019) — epigenetic signalling mechanism

Benefits & Effects

  • Acute energy, drive, and vitality — often felt on the first dose
  • Immune protection: notable resistance to sickness (post-flight colds, winter flu, etc.)
  • Faster workout recovery, reduced DOMS
  • Endurance and power output improvement
  • Gut barrier repair (strong synergy with BPC-157)
  • Thymus restoration and T-cell function — long-term immune and longevity benefits
  • Anti-inflammaging (TNF-alpha/IL-6 modulation)
  • Reduced cancer risk via restored thymic surveillance
  • Benefits persist after cycling off (variable per individual)

Dosing & Usage

  • Dose: 1–3 mg once daily
  • Timing: Morning, empty stomach (acute energy spike makes evening dosing suboptimal for sleep)
  • Cycle: 10–30 days minimum; Khavinson's protocol was 10-day cycles every 3–6 months
  • No tolerance or dependency — bioregulators don't require daily dosing to accumulate effects
  • Routes: Oral (practical, good bioavailability for a dipeptide) or subcutaneous (cheaper, slightly higher bioavailability)

Synergies

  • BPC-157 — gut architecture rebuild from completely different angles; NSAID/alcohol damage reversal
  • Pinealon — cognitive function during the day
  • Epitalon — pineal optimisation, circadian regulation, longevity
  • Full bioregulator daily protocol: Vilon (immune + energy AM) + Pinealon (cognition) + Epitalon (sleep/longevity PM) + BPC-157 (tissue repair)

Who Benefits Most

  • Older individuals (thymus largely replaced by fat tissue by age 40)
  • AAS users — anabolic steroids induce thymic involution; vilon directly counteracts this
  • High performers sacrificing sleep for output (immune protection without sedation)
  • Athletes — reduced DOMS, improved recovery, mild anabolic-like effect reported

Safety & Considerations

  • Anecdotally very well tolerated
  • Small peptide — no significant known side effects in human research
  • Research conducted primarily in Russia; limited large-scale Western RCTs
  • Not FDA approved; sold as dietary supplement (oral)
  • Understand your jurisdiction's regulations before use

Research & Sources

  • PMID: 32399807 — Vilon increased IGF1 gene expression in aged human stem cells (3.5x replicative, 5.2x stationary aging)
  • PMID: 17152729 — Vilon effects on aging-model male rats
  • PMID: 11427924 — Intestinal stem cell enhancement
  • Kolchina et al., 2019 — Direct binding to double-stranded DNA motifs, chromatin opening
  • Avolio et al., 2022 — Italian group: TNF-alpha/IL-6 modulation, macrophage function in human monocytic cell lines (independent Western validation)
  • Khavinson VK et al. — Multiple publications, Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine; 40% mortality reduction in combined bioregulator longevity protocols
  • COVID data — Russian patients treated with thymalin (crude extract containing vilon sequence) showed ~50% reduction in mortality vs controls

vilon was really surprising to me - i've been trialling it for months now. and they FINALLY dropped it.
i was expecting some minor immune efficacy through the thymus modulation, but got a noticeable increase in 'vitality' (energy, force, tenacity), noticeably quicker recovery from workouts, and i've never been sick ONCE on it.
super synchronistic with pinealon, epitalon, and BPC-157:
→ vilon handles recovery and immune regulation
→ pinealon drives cognitive function through the day
→ epitalon targets the pineal gland at night
→ bpc-157 at night for tissue repair and gut healing
i've been doing 1-2mg capsules in 30 day cycles.
[reply] epitalon = pineal gland bioregulator, pinealon = brain bioregulator, VILON = thymus bioregulator (trains T-cells).

Compounds: vilon, pinealon, epitalon, bpc-157

Since everyone else is talking about Vilon - yes, it's pretty much too good to be true. Been trialing this for about a year.
Russian Olympic athletes have been documented taking vilon and pinealon for performance enhancing purposes.
- Vilon ↑ AT-III
- Vilon ↑ Protein C
- Vilon stimulates fibrinolysis
- Vilon regulates vascular permeability
- Vilon enhances oxygen delivery
Meanwhile in Russia, COVID patients on Thymalin (contains Vilon) had more than double the survival rate.
Vilon is a game changer for performance enhancement, health and longevity.

epitalon is the pineal gland bioregulator
pinealon is the brain bioregulator
and VILON is the thymus bioregulator
the thymus is the organ that trains your T-cells, which is the immune system's precision strike force.
[reply] i'm using an extraordinarily good oral vilon that is unreleased as of now.

Compounds: epitalon, pinealon, vilon

The increase in drive/aggression and strength from Anavar and Vilon allowed me to train with much higher intensity while increasing the weights. But now I'm feeling signs my nervous system is starting to crash, so I'm taking a week off with active recovery (walking under the sun).
[replies] ran them ~8 weeks. Crash signs: less deep sleep, fatigue. For upregulating endogenous 5-alpha reductase: DHT (better than Anavar or Primo).

Compounds: anavar (oxandrolone), vilon, DHT, primobolan
